About Us

Challenge Yourself Today

In 1992, Master Tommy Chang introduced Grand Master Chang’s Taekwondo to Canada with its first location in downtown Toronto, which later became the headquarters for Grand Master Chang’s Taekwondo CANADA.

After about 10 years in a basement unit, we have been able to move our GMC Canada Headquarters location upstairs, above the McDonald’s, at the south-east corner of Bloor and Ossington. With 25 years under our belt, Grand Master Chang’s Taekwondo is now one of the LARGEST Taekwondo organizations in the country with 8 branches spread across the GTA.

Master Tommy Chang, and his team, have seen tremendous changes over the years and witnessed improvements in each student from their training in Taekwondo. He has trained students, instructors, masters and school owners to become powerful leaders in society. His influence and guidance are second to none. This has helped to create a foothold for the Taekwondo community in Canada. Countless Taekwondo masters and schools across the country were enhanced and inspired as a result of Grandmaster Chang’s leadership and direction.

To this day, Grand Master Chang’s Taekwondo continues to serve the community by opening its doors to anybody who wishes to learn martial arts and receive the benefits from it. Grand Master Chang’s Taekwondo maintains its reputation by providing first-class facilities, top-quality instruction, and certified Master Instructors. We constantly focus on instilling positive character development to our students and parents.

Grand Master Chang’s Taekwondo HISTORY
